Longhorn RWX volumes fail with I/O error code 5 (EIO) while RWO works perfectly over 1 year ago

AI Summary: The task requires diagnosing and resolving I/O errors (EIO code 5) occurring only with Longhorn RWX volumes in a single-node Kubernetes cluster managed by Kubespray. RWO volumes function correctly. The issue persists across different storage devices and fresh cluster deployments. The solution needs to ensure reliable multi-pod file sharing for applications like qBittorrent, Readarr, and Calibre-Web, which depend on RWX volume functionality.

Complexity: 4/5
